St. Luke's UMC, Midtown is located in the heart of Broad Ripple at 6185 Guilford Ave. in Indianapolis. We are an inclusive community of Christians helping people find and give hope through Jesus Christ. Who we are is a defining part of St. Luke's. At the Midtown Campus, we offer a Contemporary style of worship on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary.

No matter who you are or what your story is, we welcome you with unconditional love - exactly how Jesus does. Whether you’re a longtime churchgoer, someone in the midst of deconstructing your faith, or an individual exploring this whole Jesus thing for the first time, we are excited to have you join us. This is a 30-minute orientation to St. Luke’s. You’ll meet others who are new and leave with a next step to help you find your place within the church. This is a great way to become familiar with who we are and how we live out our faith. No pre-registration is required - come as you are!

Answers to Commonly Asked Questions

The Midtown Campus offers a contemporary style of worship at 11am on Sunday mornings. The service will have modern christian music, a live band, and an amazing sermon. There is no dress code, we are just grateful to share in worship as a community. Kids are welcome!

Yes! We are one of the few open churches in the area. This means that we affirm the full inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and non-binary persons (LGBTQIA+) in the church's life and ministries. There are no limitations in the level at which you can participate in our church. You will be loved here, no exceptions! 

As the Kids and Student Ministries continue to grow, we continue to work closely with the Kids and Students ministry leaders at and follow the North Indy developed curriculums. On Sunday mornings at the 11AM hour we offer a nursery for our youngest guests (birth to young 3's), Sunday School (older 3s to 4th grade). At the 10AM hour our students (6th-12th grade) meet for small group time. Volunteers will help you check-in your kids upon arrival in the Gathering Area.

Pre-register Your Family

The Director of Special Needs Ministry for St. Luke's UMC will be collaborating with Midtown Kids and Youth teams to provide individualized supports and accommodations as needed. Parents are encouraged to reach out to Midtown Campus staff if they want to inquire about special needs support. The Director of Special Needs Ministry will be available to consult with parents and Midtown staff on appropriate options for supports, buddy partnerships, or medical plans.
